The White County Humane Society's SNAP Grant Program is open to residents of DeKalb County who have LARGE female dogs (40 lbs or more) and need financial assistance with the cost of spay surgery. Call 931-935-8377 for more information. Freckles’ Friends is bringing The Spay Station to DeKalb County as often as funds are available. You must show proof of financial need by participating in one of the following programs: SSI, Medicaid, Disability, Unemployment, Public Housing, Food Stamps or Families First. The Spay Station is a program of New Leash on Life in Wilson County and visits to our county are sponsored by Freckles’ Friends thanks to grant funding from the Tennessee Animal Friendly License Plate Fund and the Patricia & Edward J. McGavock Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
