    Local Spay Neuter Assistance Information:

    Freckles’ Friends Spay/Neuter Voucher Program is available to anyone,
    regardless of income. The voucher is used as a coupon for $50/female dog,
    $40/male dog or $35/female cat, $25/male cat towards spay/neuter surgery.
    Call 615-464-6104 to get your voucher number which can be used with either Dr.
    Burke (615-597-1726),  Dr. Little (615-597-1950) or Dr. Wheeler (615-597-
    3770) in Smithville, TN.  Available while program funds last.  **We currently have
    limited funds for this program.  Please help by donating today.

    Freckles’ Friends is bringing The Spay Station to DeKalb County as often as
    funds are available. You must show proof of financial need by participating in one
    of the following programs: SSI, Medicaid, Disability, Unemployment, Public
    Housing, Food Stamps or Families First. You will be asked to pay only what you can
    afford. Call 615-464-6104 or 615-444-1196 to schedule an appointment for your
    pet. The Spay Station is a program of New Leash on Life in Wilson County and
    visits to our county are sponsored by Freckles’ Friends thanks to grant funding
    from the state of TN Department of Agriculture's 'Animal Friendly' license
    plate program and donations from our supporters (you).

    Fix for Life Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic in Lebanon, TN. Clinic prices are:
    Female Dog - $40, Male Dog - $30, Female Cat - $30, Male Cat - $20. To make
    an appointment call (888)453-2349 toll free. There is no up-charge for pregnant

    A Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic has been established by the Humane Society of
    Putnam County, Inc. to serve the 14 Upper Cumberland counties in Middle TN. It
    is located in Cookeville, TN. To make an appointment, call 931-372-2728. Their
    clinic prices are: Female Dog - $65, Male Dog - $55, Female Cat - $55, Male Cat
    - $40, Umbilical Hernia Repair - $10. There is no extra charge if an animal is
    pregnant or in heat!

    TNR Programs for Feral Cats – There are 2 programs available for cats that
    are not tame. Freckles’ Friends TNR program (615-464-6104) or New Leash on
    Life’s Snip and Tip program (615-444-1144). If you are caring for a feral colony
    and want to help reduce the numbers of un-tamable cats in your neighborhood,
    call for more information. Humane live traps are available for use with either
    program.
