How YOU Can Help Freckles' Friends

    Become a Spay Partner with Freckles' Friends by pledging to donate at least $10 per month to our
    spay/neuter programs.  Partner with us to help improve the lives of pets and humans in our
    community by reducing pet over-population which leads to free-roaming animals who are starving
    and/or diseased, dog attacks, pet abandonment and the stress it causes both pet and humans who
    are forced to deal with unwanted pets.  Remember the law of Supply and Demand in your high
    school economics class???   Too many animals causes their demand (perceived value) to drop.  The
    reverse is also true, fewer animals results in increased demand and value placed on the lives of dogs

    the iGive mall.  Retailers often offer special discounts or free shipping to iGive customers and a
    percentage of your on-line purchases will go to help Freckles' Friends.  Be sure to download the iGive
    button from the home page so that you won't miss an opportunity.  If you go to a site such as
    BarnesandNoble.com or Expedia.com without going to iGive first, your purchase will still help
    Freckles' Friends as long as you have the iGive button downloaded.  There are over 900 on-line
    stores that participate in iGive so go ahead and shop for the cause!  THERE IS NO COST TO YOU TO
    PARTICIPATE AND IN FACT, YOU WILL SAVE MONEY!

    Sell or buy on Ebay for Freckles' Friends!
    As an Ebay seller, sign up for a FREE Mission Fish account through the Ebay giving works program
    and you can donate a percentage of your sales on all or select items to Freckles' Friends.  The
    minimum donation is $1.  If you are not a seller, check out the items that others are selling to benefit
    Freckles' Friends by going to Freckles' Friends at Ebay Giving Works.

    VOLUNTEER:  We need volunteers to help with events such as the DeKalb County Women's Show.  If
    you can give a few hours to help post flyers, set up for the show, pack up after the show, work
    concessions, help register guests, help with the silent auction or hand out spay/neuter information,

    Organize a fundraiser!  
    Big or small, it all adds up and we need your help.  All fundraisers for Freckles' Friends do need to be
    approved by the board of directors.  Please email your plans to freckles.friends@yahoo.com.

    Register your Food Lion MVP card
    in Food Lion's MVP Rewards Program for Freckles' Friends!  Then just make sure that you use your
    MVP card each time you shop at Food Lion for savings on your groceries and Food Lion will donate a
    percentage of your grocery dollars to Freckles' Friends!  Our ID Code is 251998.








    Spay or neuter your pets.
    We have a terrible problem in the DeKalb County area.  There are simply too many pets for the
    number of people who want them.  Every kitten or puppy that is prevented can save the life of a
    homeless pet.  Please do the right thing, the responsible thing, and make sure that all your pets are
    spayed or neutered.  Go to our Spay and Neuter page to see the programs available for financial
    assistance.

    Donate your empty inkjet or laser printer cartridges and old cell phones.
    We have a recycle program for these items.  This not only helps us but is good for the environment as
    well.  Call 615-464-6104 to find out more.  If you have a business and use a lot of printer cartridges
    (not toner), go to www.fundingfactory.com to set up an account.  You will receive postage-paid box
    labels for shipping directly.  Be sure to list Freckles' Friends of Liberty, TN as your charity to support.

    Save your aluminum for us to recycle.  
    Please crush cans to make smaller loads whenever possible.  Aluminum foil is also recyclable!  Call
    615-464-6104 for a pickup.

    Help us find a place to build.  
    We are looking for an appropriate site on which to build our shelter.  We would like approximately 2
    acres in DeKalb County, preferably in Liberty or Dowelltown.  Send an email to freckles.
    friends@yahoo.com if you know of an available suitable building site.

    Spread the word to all your friends and relatives.  
    Let people know what we are doing to help our community and encourage them to log on and help
