On-Going Fundraising Activities:
- The NEW Bargain Hunters Flea Market in Smithville is now open. If you would like
to donate sellable, non-clothing items, drop them off in boxes or bags in an area that
is set up to store donations (at one end of our booth) until a volunteer can get them
priced and displayed. 70% of purchases made in our booth (30% is our booth rent)
will help fund our programs. Some donations will be sold in yard sales at which
100% will help fund our programs.
- We will be having regular yard sales at our new storage building next to Illusions
Hair and Nail Salon in Smithville. Check back for dates and times.
- Food Lion Shop and Share Program: We are excited to announce that we are now
participating in Food Lion's Shop and Share program. This is a fantastic program
and an easy and FREE way for you to help us raise funds. Click here to register
your MVP card (or sign up for one), select Freckles Friends of Liberty, TN as your
cause to support and use your card when you purchase your groceries. A percentage
of your grocery purchases will go to Freckles' Friends without costing you
anything! Please encourage your friends to register their cards as well.
- GOODSEARCH - An easy and FREE way for you to help. Go to www.goodsearch.
com and add Goodsearch to your search toolbar (they provide easy-to-follow
instructions) and choose Freckles' Friends as your cause. Every time you search the
internet, Goodsearch will add a penny to our account. Pennies add up!
- www.iGive.com/freckles - There is absolutely NO COST TO YOU and you can
save money with discounts especially for iGive members. Plus, a percentage of
every purchase made through iGive will go to Freckles' Friends to help with on-going
expenses. There are well over 600 on-line retailers in the iGive.com program
including many favorites such as Barnes and Noble, Expedia.com. Drugstore.com
(Rite Aid), JC Penney and many, many more!
- Donation cans at area businesses. Your loose change helps build our fund and pay
for on-going expenses such as printing, web site hosting, voice mail, etc.
- Let us recycle your old cell phones and laser or inkjet cartridges. Bring them
to our yard sale or drop-off at the Pamida store on Hwy 56 in Smithville.
Businesses can go to www.fundingfactory.com, click on 'Business Support' and sign
up. Just choose Freckles' Friends Pet Shelter, Inc. as the organization you would
like to support. Shipping boxes will be sent to you AT NO CHARGE and you simply
ship your old cartridges to them FREE. Freckles' Friends will get credit for your
old inkjet or laser printer cartridges and you will be helping the environment at no
cost to you.
