6/23 - Jerome called for a spay station appointment for his female dog.
6/24 - Josephine called for a spay station appointment for her male cat.
6/24 - Edna called for a spay station appointment for her female dog.
6/24 - Kaitlin called looking for a small dog to adopt.
6/25 - Tina called for a voucher for her male cat.
We are out on the front porch enjoying this gorgeous day. The wind is blowing & it's only around 82 degrees which is soooo cool for late June. It's hard to believe that 2008 is half over! I love sitting out here. I can see our neighbors horses from here and there is usually a deer or two that wander through the yard. I'd love to chase them but I am getting old. Besides, I have to stay with Kim to keep an eye on her and keep her out of trouble.

Hi Everybody!
I got to go to the lake yesterday! There were lots & lots of people fishing and boating and we walked right down to the water and I got my feet wet and had soooo much fun!!! Then Kim gave me a bath and now that my fur is so much shorter it didn't take as long. I like getting baths now. Except for the ears, I don't like it when she cleans them but everything else is all good. I wish every dog was as lucky as me.
Here are the calls from last week:
6/16 - Doris called about a lady in Smithville that has a bunch of kittens & cats that need to be spayed. The lady doesn't have a phone but her friend Joyce is going to relay messages so they can get to the spay station next month. If you are looking for a kitten, please check our courtesy listings but PLEASE get them spayed or neutered before 6 months.
6/17 - Cindy called for spay station appointments for 1 female cat, 2 female dogs and several older kittens and puppies.
6/18 - Brent called for a spay voucher for his female dog. It will only cost him $20 to get her spayed with the voucher.
6/19 - Amy called for spay station appointments for 2 female cats and 1 female dog.
6/20 - Matt called from Food Lion about some torn bag dog food for us.
6/20 - Kim called to get a message to a local volunteer about some dog food.
That's all for the week. I'm soooo glad we've been able to help so many people get their pets spayed or neutered. The spay station last week performed 32 surgeries! Yeah! That's a whole lot of unwanted kittens & puppies that won't be born.
